About the Author

From the shores of South Florida to the heart of naval engineering, Jeff Rice has spent a lifetime shaped by the sea. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Jeff transitioned into a career as a Systems Engineer working in highly technical fields, including Sonar, Radar, Electronic Warfare, and Hypersonic Missile design and development across major weapon system and shipbuilding programs. Based out of the historic Washington Navy Yard in Southeast Washington, DC, he continues his dedication to advancing the capabilities of the fleet.

His professional journey recently took an unexpected but rewarding turn. Deciding to craft a novel was an entirely new challenge for Jeff, but crafting stories has quickly become a deeply enjoyable extension of his maritime and technical background. When he isn't writing or working with the Navy, he is an avid sports fan who closely follows collegiate and professional football, rugby, and lacrosse.

Jeff currently shares his life in Northern Virginia with his wife and their three daughters.
